How are the valves controlled?
With the key-fob remote, or the Armytrix app on your phone. The app connects to a wireless module that plugs into your car's diagnostic port.
My car has a petrol particulate filter (OPF). Is that a problem?
Armytrix lists separate systems for cars with and without an OPF. Each car page says which applies. If you are not sure which your car has, send us the registration and we will check. Send us your registration
Do I need a remap?
Not for a valved cat-back system. Downpipes can change how the engine runs, so we check the car and adjust the software where it needs it. We are a tuning workshop, so we can do this in the same visit.
Stainless steel or titanium?
Armytrix builds in T304 stainless steel, with titanium versions for many cars. Titanium is lighter and costs more. Both use the same valve control.
Will it pass an MOT?
The MOT checks the exhaust is secure, free from leaks and not obviously louder than a standard system. Close the valves for the test. Some parts are sold for off-road and motorsport use only, and those are marked clearly on the product page.
Do I need to tell my insurer?
Yes. A new exhaust is a modification, and most insurers want to know about it. Tell them before you drive on it.
How long does delivery take?
We order each system from Armytrix. The lead time is shown on the product page and confirmed by email when you order. Delivery and returns
Can I pay with Klarna?
Yes, on UK orders. Choose Klarna on the secure checkout page to pay in full later, pay in 3, or spread the cost monthly, depending on your basket. Klarna decides whether to offer it to you, and your agreement is with Klarna. Can I return it?
Delivered kits that have not been fitted can be returned within 14 days. Kits that have been fitted, and fitted jobs once the work is done, cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty goods are always covered. Delivery and returns
What warranty do I get?
12 months from installation when a certified Armytrix installer fits it. JF Automotive is a certified Armytrix reseller and installer. Warranty
