Terms of sale
Last updated 22 October 2026.
1. Who we are
armytrix.co.uk (and armytrix-exhaust.co.uk and armytrix-exhaust.com, which forward to it) is owned and run by JF Automotive Ltd, trading as JF Automotive, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 07651325, VAT number GB159062893. Our registered office and workshop is at Unit 31 Integra, Bircholt Road, Parkwood Industrial Estate, Maidstone, Kent, ME15 9GQ. You can contact us on 01622 321500 or at sales@jfautomotive.co.uk.
We are an authorised Armytrix reseller and certified installer. This is our shop, not Armytrix's own website. Armytrix is a trade mark of its owner and is used with permission.
In these terms "we", "us" and "our" mean JF Automotive Ltd, and "you" means the person buying from us.
2. These terms
These terms apply when you buy from this website as a consumer: a kit delivered to you, collected from our workshop, or supplied and fitted by us. If you buy for a business or to resell, our trade terms at jfautomotive.co.uk apply instead, and Klarna is not available.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
3. Your order
Your order is an offer to buy. The contract starts when we email to confirm we have accepted it. If we cannot accept it, for example because Armytrix no longer makes the part, the part does not fit your car, or the price shown was clearly wrong, we tell you and refund anything you have paid in full.
You are responsible for choosing the right kit for your car. The fitment shown on each product page comes from Armytrix. If you are unsure, ask us before you order and we will check it against your registration.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling. UK prices include VAT at 20% and UK delivery. Export prices are shown without UK VAT; import duty and taxes in your country are yours to pay.
You pay in full when you order, through Stripe's secure checkout, by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Klarna where shown. We never see your full card details. A VAT invoice is emailed to you with your receipt.
If you choose Klarna, your agreement to pay later or in instalments is with Klarna, not with us, and Klarna's own terms apply to it. Klarna decides whether to offer it to you. We are paid in full by Klarna and do not charge you more for using it. If you return a kit bought with Klarna, we refund through Klarna and it updates your payment plan.
5. Lead times, delivery and collection
Armytrix makes and ships each system to order, so the lead time shown is an estimate, confirmed by email after you order. If it becomes much longer, we tell you and you can cancel for a full refund.
UK delivery is free, by tracked courier, and needs a signature. Please check the boxes when they arrive and tell us about any damage within 48 hours, with photos, so we can claim from the courier. If the courier cannot deliver after reasonable attempts and the kit comes back to us, we contact you to rebook. See our delivery and returns page for the details.
You can collect from our workshop instead. A kit collected in the UK is a UK sale and includes UK VAT, wherever you live.
6. Fitting
If you choose fitting, we agree a date once your system arrives and fit it with reasonable care and skill. If we find a problem with the car that stops the fit, for example seized, worn or damaged parts, we tell you before doing any extra work and agree any extra cost with you first.
7. Changing your mind
For a delivered kit you have 14 days from the day you receive it to cancel without giving a reason. Tell us by email or phone, then return it unused, unfitted and in its original packaging within 14 days of telling us. The return is at your cost, tracked and insured. We refund the price, and the standard delivery charge, within 14 days of getting the kit back. A kit that has been fitted or part-fitted cannot be returned for a change of mind.
For fitting, you can cancel before the work starts. If we have already ordered your system from Armytrix, we refund in full less any return charge Armytrix makes to us, and we tell you that amount before you decide. Once fitting has been done at your request, the right to cancel no longer applies to that work.
8. If something is wrong
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by anything in these terms. Goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality, and fitting must be done with reasonable care and skill. If they are not, contact us and we will put it right: repair, replacement or a refund, as the law sets out.
Armytrix's 12-month warranty is in addition to those rights. It runs from the date the system is installed and needs the system to be fitted by a certified installer. See warranty. The warranty does not cover damage from accidents, misuse, or parts that have been modified or fitted with third-party components we have not approved.
9. Off-road and motorsport parts
Some parts are sold for off-road and motorsport use only and are marked on the product page: for example de-cat pipes, sports catalytic converters, and particulate filter (GPF or OPF) delete pipes. You must confirm this at checkout. By buying them you accept that:
- a car fitted with them may not meet the emissions and noise rules for road use and is unlikely to pass its MOT;
- it is an offence to drive such a car on a public road, and you are responsible for how the car is used;
- you must tell your insurer about every modification to your car, or your insurance may be invalid.
Sports catalytic converters carry the statutory notice: illegal to supply for type-approved vehicles first used on or after 1/3/01. For road use, choose the kit with the standard catalytic converters in place. Whatever you fit, telling your insurer about the modification is your responsibility.
10. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses such as lost profit. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
11. Complaints
If you are unhappy with anything we have done, please tell us. Our complaints procedure explains how we deal with it and how quickly.
12. Your personal data
We use your details as set out in our privacy notice. We may record phone calls for training and to keep an accurate record of what was agreed.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or of Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.
